Tom McHugh serves as Managing Director and Head of the Mortgage Trading and Financing Group at J.V.B. Financial Group, LLC.  Mr. McHugh has over 18 years of experience in MBS trading, repo financing, hedging strategy, and liability financing.  Mr. McHugh’s primary responsibilities include the management of all Agency MBS, TBA, and Repo trading as well as structuring all liabilities for JVB.  Mr. McHugh was most recently the Head of Repo Trading at Highland Financial Holdings Group, a relative value fixed income hedge fund.  While at Highland, Mr. McHugh managed the fund’s $15 billion Agency MBS, investment grade, and subprime MBS, ABS, and CMBS funding books, and his responsibilities included trading and structuring all liabilities and repo; hedging the funds interest rate risk using both Euro dollar bundles and exchange traded options; oversight of the trade margining and exposure to counterparties; coordination of trade settlements; cash management and maintaining the trading and credit relationships with the broker dealer community.  Mr. McHugh was also instrumental in the negotiations of the credit terms within all trading agreements.  Mr. McHugh began his career with Morgan Stanley & Co. as an analyst on the municipal bond trading desk in both the New York and San Francisco offices.  Mr. McHugh graduated from Lycoming College with a B.A. in Business Administration and Economics.

Brendan Kissane serves as a Managing Director and head of specified pools and TBA trading at J.V.B. Financial Group, LLC. Mr. Kissane has over 14 years of trading experience with a specialization in Mortgage Pass-throughs.  Prior to joining JVB he was responsible for building the pass through business for both  Ally Securities and Mizuho Securities. He also spent several years in the same capacity at Nomura Securities and UBS Securities.

Joe Ilardi  serves as Managing Director and Head of the Mortgage Repo Group at J.V.B. Financial Group, LLC. He has over 25 years of experience in Agency MBS repo trading. Mr. Ilardi’s primary responsibilities include the management of all Agency MBS repo trading. Mr. Ilardi was most recently with UBS in Group Asset and Liability Management where he managed UBS’s MBS, Government, and Agency general collateral funding books as well as managing the risk. Mr. Ilardi’s responsibilities also included asset sourcing for the firm’s Pillar 1 activity, which included all HQLA’s for the various liquidity buffers, Fed pledge requirements, OTC margin, and any 15c3 activity, as well as Pillar 2 activity, which included sourcing of non-agency collateral and working with cash management internally to fund these activities.  Earlier in his career at UBS, Mr. Ilardi managed the UBS MBS repo team with over $50 billion in assets in the New York office.  Mr. Ilardi was part of the repo team retained from the Paine Webber/ UBS merger in 2000.

Tommy Antonaros serves as the Director of Repo Operations at J.V.B. Financial Group, LLC.  Mr. Antonaros has over 15 years of fixed income knowledge and experience with great versatility in the business ranging from Repo Funding & Trading, managing the Debt Capital Markets Fixed Income Middle Office Group, managing New Issue Syndicate Desk, and operations. Mr. Antonaros began his career with IBM in their headquarters working in the Treasury & Funding Group trading commercial paper for the firm. Mr. Antonaros followed that  by joining Barclays Capital, where he managed the operations group, followed by managing the New Issue Syndicate Desk. Mr. Antonaros was instrumental in streamlining processes for greater efficiencies and cost minimization.  Prior to joining JVB, Mr. Antonaros worked for Cantor Fitzgerald for over 10 years on the Repo Desk, as well as managing the Fixed Income Middle Office group during his tenure there.  Mr. Antonaros’ responsibilities included trading and funding a multi-billion dollar Agency  MBS repo matched book, overseeing counterparty margin and exposure, coordinating and optimizing trade settlement all while building strong and continuous client and broker–dealer relationships. Mr. Antonaros graduated from Baruch College with a B.B.A. degree in Finance & Investments with honors.

Justin Hastings serves as the Director of the Mortgage and Financing groups at J.V.B. Financial Group, LLC. Mr. Hastings has been a part of the JVB team for over 4 years. Mr. Hastings primary responsibility is trading and managing the gestational repo book of business for JVB. Mr. Hastings also contributes to the TBA and ARMs trading teams. Prior to JVB, Mr. Hastings worked at JP Morgan on their TBA trading desk. Mr. Hastings graduated from The Pennsylvania State University with degrees in Finance and Spanish

Kenny Perschetz serves as Managing Director and Head of Agency Adjustable Rate Mortgage-backed Trading at J.V.B. Financial Group, LLC. Mr. Perschetz serves in a market making capacity for all new origination and seasoned Ginnie Mae and Conventional ARM securities. Mr. Perschetz is one of the founding fathers of ARM trading with over 30 years of experience. Mr. Perschetz became one of Wall Street’s original ARM traders while at Dean Witter Reynolds when Agency ARM securities were first created. Mr. Perschetz was the first ARM trader at Bear Stearns Companies where he developed the ARM desk into one of the Street’s largest participants. At Sandler O’Neill & Partners, Mr. Perschetz traded ARMs as well as callable agency securities and was the initiator of agency fixed-to-floating debt . Mr. Perschetz also traded Agency ARMs at Nomura Securities and Oppenheimer & Co. Mr. Perschetz began his career at Standard & Poor’s Corp where he was primarily responsible for the ratings analysis of private conduit issued ARM securities. Mr. Perschetz has a MBS in International Business and Marketing from Fordham University and a BS in Accounting from the University of Hartford.
