GIVING BACK
All of us would likely agree on the importance of helping those who are less fortunate than us. JVB's continued success only further illuminates the importance of giving back, both locally and globally. And by giving back to the community, we can hope to not only improve the quality of life for those in need, but to also remind ourselves of our own good fortune.
We are pleased to announce the formation of the JVB Charity Board, which is an internal committee that will govern all of JVB's charitable involvement and community service. As we participate in different charitable activities and contributions throughout the year, we will post information about it here on this page.
All of us at JVB are excited to see the positive impact we can make!
DECEMBER 2009 - JVB Holds Employee Holiday Toy Drive
JVB collected toys in its Boca headquarters for distribution to children in need through three local organizations' holiday toy drives. The donations were met with extreme gratitude at each organization, and we wish to thank all JVB employees who donated toys, money, or time, because they helped make a child's holiday season brighter!
MAY 2010 - JVB Employees Donate to Traumatic Injury Support Foundation
JVB is extremely proud of our employees for their recent donations to the Traumatic Injury Support Foundation (TISF), which is a statewide non-profit charitable organization whose mission is to help families after a traumatic injury (such as brain injuries and spinal cord injuries). Donations such as those made by our employees can be used to help purchase wheelchair batteries or hospital beds, cover the cost of tube-feeding for an infant, install hand rails or ramps in the home of a wheelchair-bound person, supply voice- or eye-controlled computers for quadriplegics, and more. Thank you again to all of our employees who donated!
